One pitch away--Part 2

The news today of Stephen Strasburg's injury is sad. This young pitcher looked to have it all. The evidence continues to mount that except in the very lucky the human arm is just not designed to do what Stephen Strasburg does. 100 mph fastballs, 90 mph changeups, it just is not going to work,,,,,unless one is very lucky.

The Nationals now have to put their " future " back a year. Last year Jordan Zimmerman another young pitcher of their future had Tommy John and now Strasburg does. Hopefully both recover well and a future does come for this team.

The good news is pitchers do recover, they pitch well and long after this surgery. Some say, a pitcher is even stronger after. We must hope so for Strasburg
