Rondo

The Celtics evened the series with the Cleveland Cavs yesterday and there is no doubt the best player on the court was Rajan Rondo. Yesterday was not the first time i have marveled at some of the passes and plays I have seen Rondo make. Yesterday however he reminded me in his ball handling and passes of what i have only read about from the stories of Pete Maravich. Rondo will never be the shooter that Maravich was but he does think that make me look not twice but over and over.

His thread the needle passes thru the lane have become commonplace, his cradle that can lead to a layup or a pass can keep defenders and his behind the back " I see you coming Lebron pass" yesterday was one for the ages.

Can the Celtics win. Yes. Will they win? Most likely not. Has Rondo for the second year in a row cemented himself as a great player who is even greater on the big stage. Without a doubt.
